Backed, Delayed and Refunded
I have 2 Projects that were running Late.
The Marmoreal Tomb (Delivery March 2016)
and
Cortex Prime: A Multi-Genre Modular Roleplaying Game (Delivery April 2018)

The Marmoreal Tomb is the work of Ernie Gygax Jr, it has has a series of setbacks and overambitious stretch goals. Also, Ernie's partner is doing some over the top designs on the maps and everything else..
This campaign was full of aggressive Stretch Goals, one nearly every 3K over the Funding minimum of 20K, so there was a significant amount of over the top work to be included... This is mainly the work of one person ghost writing for Ernie and then comparing notes. I am not excusing why this project is a few years late. I backed this project on Ernie's Name, It was not something I was going to run, I was going to get it signed and it would be a collectors item.

Cortex is the work of Cam Banks, who did the design work for Margaret Weis Productions on Firefly RPG and Marvel RPG using the Cortex System. Margaret retired from the game industry and Cam took over the Cortex with his own company. He had stretch goals, but that were not being written by him or designed by him and were merely other people settings using the Cortex Prime
I had an online interaction with Mr. Banks telling him I would back if it was going to be ready by the next GaryCon, he said he would have something ready by then. I was forming a Pirate adventure around the system and hacked much of it from the Firefly RPG and the poor SRD at the time..I am an open the book guy when running games so working off this was not a great solution.
So, after nearly a year past funding, Cam announces he and his family are moving to New Zealand.
Not finished with the KS, and he is leaving the country in December 2018, hoping to finish by then

Sparkle*Kitty Nights
After the Kickstarter was finished, I did demos for Breaking Games at GenCon last year... I then requested to get 2 copies of Sparkle Kitty Nights instead of a second Sparkle*Kitty before Shipping began and received one of each, I was told a second one would be shipped, but have not received it yet
Now there was miscommunication on Dice Kick starter where my account got messed up and Kick starter could not fix it so the blame lies with them and I only got 10 Dollars of dice for a 30 dollar pledge... I am not blaming anyone, but they did not make good on the messed up pledge - Not naming anyone on it. just have not been interested in their recent KS
(note, the KS listed in blog are not the only ones I have done so do not make any assumptions and I have not pressed the issue)

Having seen and play tested a lot of this system, I have started to run my Campaign based on this and the play test of the book
Diffusion™ Dice from Role 4 Initiative™
Currently my Favorite dice, I own several sets and are waiting on some more
Bestiary of American Cryptozoology, Mythology, & Paranormal
I love Mythos of cultures and do my create monsters so this is something I very much look forward to

I play tested this game and provided feedback on it. The end product is pretty good but needed a better set of all Card explanations for new players
Zucati Dice: Perfect Plastic™ Dice
These feel pretty good, and I would like a couple of more sets
Top Secret: New World Order - the espionage roleplaying game
I backed this for the PDF, I have a 50 Dollar Credit with TSR over the Gygax Magazine but cannot seem to collect on my credit and I do not want to pay shipping on the box set... I enjoyed the Top Secret /SI but this is kinda pointless at this time

These are a mainstay of my travel set and use the weather dice often when running games
Gunmetal Polyhedral RPG Dice In Complete Sets
Although I like the dice, and the color, I rarely use these due to a chipping issue, they replaced them, but now I am afraid if chipping them. Not buying another set from Easy Roller
WHAT!? Pencil Dice
I bought these because I happen to be present when this idea was discussed at GaryCon 8. Great Story behind them and I used them frequently
WHAT to KNOW
When backing a Kickstarter, you should check the Following:
1 - Who is the Creator
1A - Have they done other kickstarters
1B - Name Recognition
Some creators bite off more than they can handle, and cannot deliver for many reasons.
Try to find some that are by reliable companies, have a record or Name recognition. I am not saying not to give some a chance, but, if the kickstarter looks poorly done, the creator has a bad record or any other red flags catch your eye, do not join
2 - Is the company reliable
I found that well known Game companies using KS as funding usually come through
3 - The Project will most likely be delayed. I have had 2 come in on or before the date they stated.

So the June 29th update basically stated, no progress on the KS, but he got his Plane tickets...
This is when I lost all hope on this project
I then requested and got a refund on this which I applied to another KS. Shortly thereafter he stopped giving refunds. (March1st 2019 Update)
Nearly 2 years past the Funding, this is still not in the backers hands and they may have pay additional fees due to the delays because the costs have increased.
